Im really stuck! What's the best barbel fishing bait to use? I'm not sure which barbel bait works best!

  It obviously depends on the water you are fishing and time of year, but I always find that trout pellets work extremely well. Luncheon meat is another extremely effective bait also.
  
  Make sure you use a cage feeder or swimfeeder on every cast as well to feed out lots of groundbait. This will attract any barbel in the area to your hookbait.
